In the early hours of a Friday morning in Little Rock, Arkansas, a promising life was cut tragically short. Lawrence Chudi Ibekwe, a 24-year-old man, was fatally shot on August 19, 2016, just twelve days before his twenty-fifth birthday. The incident, which marked the city's 20th homicide of the year, unfolded inside a duplex on Mara Lynn Road in the western part of the city.
