In the autumn of 2022, a young life was abruptly cut short on a street in Little Rock, Arkansas. On the afternoon of Tuesday, October 25, 2022, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 1800 block of Dennison Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Victor M. Lopez Carrillo Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
