On a Thursday in late March, Little Rock police were called to a residence in the 1900 block of Rice Street following a report of a 'subject down'. Inside the home, officers discovered the unresponsive body of 39-year-old Brian Deshaun McDowell, a male resident of Little Rock. It was apparent to the officers at the scene that McDowell had succumbed to a gunshot wound.
