On September 17, 2016, 45-year-old Malik A. Mumit was found deceased in front of his residence on Pinewood Drive in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was discovered lying on the ground next to a motorcycle, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. This incident marked the 25th homicide in Little Rock for that year.
