In the late spring of 2023, the life of James Edward Moore, a 30-year-old Black male from Little Rock, Arkansas, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Saturday, May 27th, events transpired at the intersection of 11th and Thayer Streets that would lead to his death. The following day, his body was discovered in a wooded area near the 2600 block of West 12th Street, prompting the Little Rock Police Department to launch a homicide investigation.
