In the late hours of a Thursday evening in Little Rock, Arkansas, a burst of violence cut short the life of 17-year-old Carnelius Williams. On January 5, 2023, the young Black male was shot multiple times in the vicinity of Chicot Road and Depriest Road. The gravely wounded teenager was rushed to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe. Despite medical efforts, Williams succumbed to the multiple gunshot wounds he sustained.
