On August 13, 2017, 48-year-old Vincent James was fatally shot in Little Rock, Arkansas. The incident occurred around 2:50 a.m. as James was entering his residence on South Main Street. According to his account, two men attempted to rob him, during which one assailant shot him in both legs. Despite the injuries not initially appearing life-threatening, James was transported to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he was pronounced dead at 9 a.m.
