On March 26, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Little Rock, Arkansas, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, including 20-year-old Malachi Carey. The incident took place near 3002 Washington Street, around 9:25 p.m. on Sunday.

Malachi Carey, a resident of Alexander, Arkansas, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim, 20-year-old Jailene Washington from Jacksonville, Arkansas, was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
