In the late hours of a warm August night, just before the start of a new semester, the life of 21-year-old Joshua Keshun Smith was tragically cut short. On August 11, 2020, on the campus of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, a place of learning and future aspirations, a fatal encounter unfolded in the parking lot of the Donald W.
