On September 10, 2017, at approximately 9:00 PM, a shooting occurred at a car wash located in the 2400 block of South Olive Street in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The incident resulted in the death of 29-year-old Roderick Burnett and left another individual injured. Both victims sought refuge at a nearby Sonic Drive-In, where Burnett was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
