In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Lynchburg, Virginia, the life of 22-year-old Omarr Tarik Thompson was tragically cut short. On October 29, 2017, Thompson, a Black male, was found shot on the 1200 block of Main Street. Emergency services responded to a call regarding a malicious wounding and discovered Thompson with a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to Lynchburg General Hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.
