On August 2, 2018, at approximately 1 a.m., Pine Bluff police responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of 13th and Maple Streets. Upon arrival, officers discovered 47-year-old Theodis "Pookie" Morris Jr. lying in front of an apartment at 1320 South Maple Street.
