In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a neighborhood on East 6th Avenue. When police responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 11:30 p.m. on April 26, 2020, they discovered a tragic scene inside a residence. Thirty-seven-year-old Terrance D. Givens, a Black male, was found deceased, a victim of the barrage of bullets that had torn through the home.
