In the city of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, a grim discovery marked the beginning of a new year's crime statistics. On the afternoon of Thursday, February 11, 2021, police responded to a call about a possible dead body in the 1200 block of West 29th Avenue. There, they found 54-year-old Larry Williams, a male resident of Pine Bluff. He had sustained apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by the deputy coroner.
