In the early morning hours in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the quiet stillness was broken by a grim discovery. Allen Lee Lampkin, a 49-year-old man, was found deceased inside his pickup truck around 4 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016. An employee arriving for work at Kibb's Bar-B-Q on South Blake Street stumbled upon the scene. It was immediately apparent that this was no natural death; Lampkin had sustained a gunshot wound.
