Glendale Head, 65, male, was a longtime resident of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. On the afternoon of March 3, 2014, he drew the attention of two Pine Bluff police officers by flagging them down near the intersection of Dollarway Road and Moreland Street. As the officers approached his vehicle, they saw that he was holding a firearm. In those brief, fraught moments, despite police commands, he turned the gun on himself and fired a single shot into his chest. He died from the self-inflicted wound.
