On March 3, 2014, 65-year-old Glendale Head of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. when Head flagged down two police officers at the intersection of Dollarway Road and Moreland Street. As the officers approached his vehicle, they observed Head holding a firearm. Despite their commands, Head turned the gun on himself and fired a single shot into his chest.
