On March 13, 2021, 56-year-old Edson Edward Jones was fatally shot at the Beech Street Apartments in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Officers responding to the scene around 2:24 p.m. found Jones with apparent gunshot wounds near the back of the parking lot; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
