In the winter of 1920, a tragic event unfolded in the city of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, leading to the death of a dedicated law enforcement officer. Detective C.C. Lynn, a 35-year-old White/Caucasian male, lost his life in the line of duty on February 5th of that year. The incident began when Detective Lynn responded to a shooting call at a residence situated between South Texas Street, South Georgia Street, and East Second Avenue.
