In the early morning hours of December 29, 2015, the life of 30-year-old Derrick Raymond Matthews was tragically cut short in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was discovered inside a red vehicle at the intersection of 10th Avenue and Palm Street, having been fatally shot. Born in Lake Village, Arkansas, Matthews was a former student of Pine Bluff High School and a father to three children.
