On December 28, 2023, just after midnight, officers from the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to a call in the area of 313 E. 21st Avenue. The caller had reported a car with its windows shot out and possibly a person inside. Upon arrival, the officers found a car parked just off 21st Avenue, occupied by a single male who was later identified as 31-year-old Zeavon Montreal Irby.
