On July 26, 2014, a tragic shooting occurred in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Cedric Ginger from Sheridan. The incident took place during a gathering at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Redbud Street, where three other individuals—Leroy Ginger, Kevin Ginger, and Kevin Briggs, all from Star City—were also injured by gunfire.
