On the morning of October 10, 2021, Pine Bluff police responded to a reported shooting at the Camelot Apartments on Old Warren Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered 22-year-old Norris Perry Jr. of West Memphis, Arkansas, in an exterior stairwell with an apparent gunshot wound. A handgun was found near his body, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
