On Sunday, October 22, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in the Dollarway area of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The victim, 25-year-old Jmarcus Giles, was found unresponsive in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 1401 Cottonwood Street, specifically in front of building 21. Giles had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office.
