In the quiet, early morning hours of April 21, 2023, the life of 18-year-old Kaleb Cave was tragically cut short in what appeared to be a targeted attack in Varnville, South Carolina. At approximately 2:00 a.m., a vehicle drove past his family's home on Harriet Tubman Lane and unleashed a spray of bullets into the residence. One of those bullets found its way through his bedroom window, striking and killing the young man as he slept.
At the time of the incident, six other people were
inside the house, including his one-year-old daughter. Miraculously, no one else was physically harmed.
