In the summer of 2020, the life of Cedric Dewayne Sloan, a 39-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. On the afternoon of July 6th, police responded to a call about an armed disturbance on Union Avenue. Their investigation quickly led them to a residence in the 7300 block of Rosswood Colony.
