On July 6, 2020, 39-year-old Cedric Dewayne Sloan of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was fatally shot inside a residence in the 7300 block of Rosswood Colony. Officers from the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to reports of an armed disturbance and found Sloan with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
