On September 3, 2020, 20-year-old Kavon Duane Mitchell was fatally shot in front of a residence at 25 Needles Drive in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 5 p.m. and found Mitchell suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
