On February 18, 2017, at approximately 4 a.m., 30-year-old Willie Baines was fatally shot while seated in the driver's seat of a friend's car near the intersection of 24th Avenue and Poplar Street in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Family members reported that Baines was shot in the back of his head from close range.

The Pine Bluff Police Department responded to the scene and discovered Baines with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center and later trans ...
