In the spring of 2019, the life of 24-year-old Clifton McDowell was tragically cut short in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. On the afternoon of Monday, April 8th, police responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Iris Street and Howard Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered McDowell lying in the street with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, but tragically succumbed to his injuries during surgery. His death marked the 11th homicide in Pine Bluff for that year.
