In the winter of 2024, the community of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was shaken by the violent death of 16-year-old Kendall Burton. A student at Pine Bluff High School, Kendall was known by many and his sudden passing left a void in the lives of those who knew him. On the evening of Friday, January 12th, the young man's life was cut short by gunfire, a tragic event that added to the growing concerns over violence in the city.
