Murdered

On March 21, 2024, a homicide occurred in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, resulting in the death of 43-year-old Willie Purifoy. The incident took place at 2702 South Ash Street, where Purifoy was found inside the residence with apparent gunshot wounds. Officers from the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to the scene around 1 a.m. and found Purifoy unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead at the scene by the Jefferson County Coroner.
