In the quiet town of White Hall, Arkansas, a young life was abruptly cut short on a Saturday in February. Kerry Leneal Hadley Jr., a 22-year-old male, was killed by gunfire on February 17, 2024, in nearby Pine Bluff. His death left a void in the lives of his parents, Kerry Hadley Sr. and Nicole Hadley, and his three brothers.

In connection with the fatal shooting, authorities arrested 18-year-old Ja'Kevion Scott of Pine Bluff. Scott was taken into custody on a recent warrant for an unrelated matter before being charged with capital murder for his alleged involvement in Hadley's death.
Further investigation by the Pine Bluff Police Department led to the identification of a second individual believed to be connected to the crime. An active warrant for capital murder was issued for 18-year-old Laterrion 'Puncho' Lawson, also of Pine Bluff. Authorities have described Lawson as armed and dangerous and are seeking information from the public regarding his whereabouts.
