On a spring day in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the life of 35-year-old Kendrell Laws was tragically cut short. Just before noon on April 11, 2024, officers from the Pine Bluff Police Department were dispatched to the 3100 block of South Catalpa Street following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Laws in the parking lot, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
