On January 8, 2022, 55-year-old Calvin Lee Kirklin Sr. was found deceased in his vehicle in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The Pine Bluff Police Department responded to a report of a shooting around 2:45 a.m. near 2200 W. 10th Avenue, where they discovered Kirklin's body. This incident marked the second homicide in Pine Bluff that night, following another fatal shooting approximately five hours earlier.
