On June 6, 2021, at approximately 9:15 p.m., 36-year-old Brandon La'Mar Dement was fatally shot in front of his residence at 2120 South Maple Street in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Officers from the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to the scene and found Dement suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 10:00 p.m.
