On September 5, 2023, a tragic shooting incident occurred in the 200 block of M Street, Southwest, Washington, D.C., resulting in the death of 32-year-old Matthew Miller.

The incident happened at approximately 4:15 p.m. when a shoot-out erupted inside an apartment unit where Miller lived.
