On the evening of November 30, 2024, in the quiet of William A. Pitts Park in Antioch, Tennessee, a young man's life was cut short. Mohamed Keita, a 23-year-old male from Riverdale, Georgia, was found deceased in the driver's seat of his Infiniti sedan the following evening. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds in what investigators believe was a targeted attack that occurred around 9:45 p.m. in a rear parking lot of the park.
Inside Keita's vehicle, authorities discovered a jar of marijuana and a holstered pistol.
The investigation into the homicide led detectives to identify three teenage suspects. The first arrest was made on March 6, 2025, when TITANS Unit detectives took 18-year-old Jazlynn Summers into custody in Clarksville. Summers, who was 17 at the time of the incident, later admitted to her role in setting up and participating in the robbery that led to Keita's death. Her admission provided a crucial breakthrough in the case, pointing to a motive of robbery-gone-wrong.
Following the information provided by Summers, the investigation pressed forward, leading to a second arrest on May 30, 2025. Authorities in Hampstead, North Carolina, apprehended Angel Sandoval, who was also 17 at the time of the murder. The final suspect, Jamier Logan, was arrested by TITANS Unit detectives on August 30, 2025. Logan, who was 17 when the crime occurred, was already out on bond for a separate vehicle theft charge at the time of his arrest.
All three suspects, Jazlynn Summers, Angel Sandoval, and Jamier Logan, are facing criminal homicide charges for their involvement in the fatal shooting of Mohamed Keita. Due to their ages at the time of the offense, their cases are being handled in Juvenile Court. The arrests brought some measure of progress to an investigation that initially sought public assistance by releasing surveillance images of a suspected getaway vehicle, described as a silver Kia Soul.
