On February 15, 2024, Steven Yates, a 34-year-old resident of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, was fatally shot outside his workplace, a candle manufacturing company located on Old Franklin Road in Antioch. The incident occurred just after midnight when Yates, during his break, went to the parking lot and encountered two individuals.
