On the night of September 13, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a residential neighborhood in Antioch, Tennessee, leaving three men dead in what investigators have described as a targeted triple homicide. One of the victims was 28-year-old Jesus Manuel Munoz Morales. The violent encounter also claimed the lives of his 48-year-old father, Antonio Munoz-Rizo, and another man, 22-year-old Jesus Gallardo-Ramirez. All three men had ties to the Atlanta, Georgia, area.
The investigation into the brutal slayings quickly uncovered that the home on Bart Drive where the men were killed was being used as a front for a Hispanic prostitution operation. This discovery led detectives to believe the murders were connected to this illicit enterprise. Neighborhood surveillance footage captured a portion of the events leading up to the shooting, showing two of the victims and a woman arriving at the house in a white Honda with a Georgia temporary tag shortly before 10:35 p.m. Minutes later, several individuals were seen approaching the residence on foot before multiple gunshots rang out.
In the chaotic aftermath, the perpetrators fled the scene, leaving behind the three deceased victims. The woman who had arrived with two of the victims is believed to have escaped from the back of the house and her whereabouts remain unknown. Authorities have publicly urged her to come forward, assuring her that there are resources available to ensure her safety, as she may have vital information about the killers. A fourth man, who was uninvolved and simply riding his bicycle in the area, was struck in the hip by a stray bullet. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
As of the most recent reports, no arrests have been made in connection with the triple homicide, and the investigation remains active. Detectives from the Metro Nashville Police Department's Homicide and Specialized Investigations Division are continuing to follow leads.
