On December 25, 2023, at approximately 7:40 p.m., a tragic shooting occurred in the 4000 block of Pepperwood Drive in Antioch, Tennessee, resulting in the death of 25-year-old Anthony "Jaylon" Gatewood Jr. Upon arrival, Metro Nashville Police Department officers found Gatewood lying near the side of a residence; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
