Demareus Merriweather, a 26-year-old male from Antioch, TN, tragically died on July 8, 2017. He was found unresponsive in his truck, which had crashed into the parking lot of Quarters Inn and Suites on Bell Road near Interstate 24. Merriweather was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where doctors discovered he had been shot in the torso. Despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
