In the early morning hours of January 30, 2021, a fatal encounter unfolded at a gas station in Antioch, Tennessee. Alexis Sevilla Chacon, a 29-year-old man, pulled his 2017 Dodge Challenger up to the pumps at the Twice Daily market located on Cane Ridge Road. After going inside the market, he returned to his car, unaware that he was being watched. As he reached his vehicle, his life took a violent and tragic turn.
Occupants of a gray or silver Chrysler sedan, possibly a 300 model, had
entered the parking lot and were waiting for him. Two men emerged from the Chrysler and approached Chacon. At least one of the individuals was armed with a pistol. A struggle broke out between Chacon and the two assailants near the gas pumps. In the midst of the confrontation, a shot was fired, and Chacon was fatally wounded.
Following the shooting, the two suspects quickly got back into their Chrysler sedan and fled the scene, turning onto Bell Road. Authorities from the Metro Nashville Police Department were called to the scene at approximately 2:10 a.m. and began a homicide investigation. Investigators have stated that robbery is being considered as a potential motive for the deadly assault. The police have asked for the public's help in identifying the Chrysler and the individuals involved. Despite the ongoing investigation, no arrests have been made in connection with the murder of Alexis Sevilla Chacon, and the suspects remain at large.
