In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Antioch, Tennessee, 23-year-old Sulaiman Murshed was with a companion inside a vehicle at the 300 Hickory Apartments on Hickory Hollow Place. It was around 10 p.m. on January 14, 2025, when the stillness of the evening was abruptly broken by the sound of gunfire. The vehicle, occupied by Murshed and a 24-year-old man, became a target, and in the chaos that ensued, both men were struck by bullets.
