In the winter of 2020, a young man's life was abruptly ended in a burst of violence that has, to this day, left his community and family searching for answers. Edward Earl Johnson Jr., a 24-year-old Black man, was discovered on the evening of January 29th, lying in the parking lot of the Abbington Heights Apartments on Hickory Hollow Terrace in Antioch, Tennessee. He had sustained a gunshot wound to his upper torso.
