Edward Earl Johnson Jr., a 24-year-old man from Antioch, Tennessee, was tragically killed on January 29, 2020. He was found in the parking lot of the Abbington Heights Apartments on Hickory Hollow Terrace, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper torso. Despite being rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he was pronounced dead at the scene. A handgun, reported stolen during a residential burglary in November 2019, was recovered near his body.
