In the early morning hours of December 21, 2024, the life of 34-year-old James Earl Robinson II was tragically cut short in Duquesne, Pennsylvania. First responders were dispatched to the intersection of South 5th Street and Viola Way shortly after 5 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Robinson deceased at the scene, having sustained a single gunshot wound to the chest.
The Allegheny County Police Department's Homicide Unit is actively
investigating the incident as a homicide. It was reported that the shooting occurred outside of Reese's Supper Club on South Fifth Street, where Robinson had been a guest earlier in the evening. As of early February 2026, authorities have not publicly identified any suspects in the fatal shooting.
