In the early morning hours of January 20, 2025, violence shattered the quiet of a home on Commonwealth Avenue in Duquesne, Pennsylvania, leaving 30-year-old Sean Johnson Jr. dead. Another individual, 39-year-old Catherine Lawing, was also critically injured in the shooting and succumbed to her injuries a few days later in the hospital. Both Johnson and Lawing died from gunshot wounds to the head.
