Donnell Demery, a 55-year-old man from Duquesne, PA, tragically died on August 12, 2018, from gunshot wounds sustained during a shooting at the 1313 Saloon on Kennedy Avenue. The incident occurred around midnight when an argument escalated, leading to Demery being shot multiple times in the torso and left leg. Despite efforts to save him, including the application of a tourniquet, he succumbed to his injuries at UPMC McKeesport hospital about an hour later.
