In the early morning hours of October 25, 2022, the quiet of a Duquesne, Pennsylvania street was broken by the sound of multiple gunshots. Responding to a call around 5:55 a.m., police discovered 18-year-old Durobb Johnson, a male, slumped over the wheel of a car in the 900 block of High Street. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the shooting led Allegheny County Police to identify another 18-year-old from Duquesne, William McClain, as the person responsible for Johnson's death. Investigators determined that McClain was the individual who had gunned down Johnson in his vehicle.
By late December 2022, an arrest warrant had been issued for William McClain. He faces charges of criminal homicide and one count of a person not to possess a firearm. Authorities asked for the public's help in locating McClain, who was not immediately in custody following the issuance of the warrant.
