Temia Haywood, a 35-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost her life on March 23, 2019. She and her 13-year-old son, Lavell Edmond, were found dead in their home, both having suffered fatal gunshot wounds. The incident occurred in the 6800 block of East 3rd Avenue in Gary. According to reports, the police discovered their bodies around 8 p.m. on the night of the murders.
