Nefreteri Jones, aged 54, tragically lost her life on October 25, 2019, in Gary, Indiana. On that fateful day, firefighters responded to a house fire at a residence on West 20th Avenue. Upon extinguishing the blaze, they discovered the bodies of three individuals inside the home. Nefreteri Jones was found with a gunshot wound to her upper left shoulder, and subsequent investigations revealed that she had been shot again in the chest before an accelerant was thrown on her.
