On the night of May 16, 2025, in Gary, Indiana, the life of 20-year-old Chasity Shorter was tragically cut short. Authorities responded to a call at approximately 11:22 p.m. and discovered a grim scene at an apartment complex on Clark Road. Inside, they found Chasity, who was four months pregnant, and a man, later identified as 21-year-old Brice Taylor of Hammond, both deceased.
